Dr Chimaobi Isiguzo presented this paper as an oral abstract at the Annual Scientific Conference of the Bloodless Medicine & Surgery Society (2021).
Dr Isiguzo received his basic medical qualification from College of Medical Sciences, University of Calabar, Nigeria. He is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons. Dr Isiguzo is currently working at Federal Medical Centre Owerri and helped in developing and establishing a Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Group that is promoting bloodless care in that centre. He has published about 14 scientific papers and made several presentations at local and international conferences.
