Dr Kawamoto is a Clinical Professor of Surgery who is Board certified in Gastroenterology in Japan since 2002. He is also a Board certified Instructor in hepatobiliary-pancreatic surgery since 2008 and has had a long distinguished career in liver transplantation. Dr Kawamoto is the Director of Bloodless Medicine & Surgery in Shonan Atsugi Hospital, Atsugi, Kanagawa, Japan. He was the Chairman of the 5th annual meeting of the Asian Society for Patient Blood Management in 2019.
