Dr Okon is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons and Chief Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar, Nigeria. He is the Residency Training Coordinator for his department. Dr Okon has been carrying out bloodless surgery in his specialty for more than 8 years with excellent outcomes. He is a member of the local Bloodless Medicine & Surgery Group and several professional Societies including the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Nigeria (SOGON) and the Bloodless Medicine & Surgery Society.
